12hr Pre-ride

OK...wtf.....this ride was nuts....

one word....SAND!...wtf is this the arabian desert? I hope to hell we took wrong turns or else this race is 75% sand!

WTF, I mean I like the beach as much as the nest guy but GFY! last decent was fun, there was a little fun in between but holy hell all the climbs were SAND! imposible if not improbable to ride and did I mention SANDY!

I hope to hell we took wrong turns or else this is one of the worst places I have ever riden.... and to race for 12hrs.........GFYM!

Sox won...ya hooooo game 7 tomorrow hence no ride more booz!

Word of the day is GAGNE, said ganyea! as the asshole protected a 10 run lead in the 9th congrads to the canacdian disaster and Nancy Drew!

Great ride! got alot of time with the new helmet mount light....Why oh why didn't I get that light earlier!

Esp thru the "tunnels" you can see the turns ahead that aren't in front of you ect ect def highly recommend it!

My riding was uh *shrug* first night ride of the season need to get my cat eyes honed.... I was all over the place didn't climb esp well (dabbed 2X on the goat climb) descended ok def can go faster but its out riding the lights that was bugging me and I have to get used to not being able to see way ahead.

Day off tomorrow Pre-ride Temecula Saturday

Another great after work MTB ride.

The rebuilt IF is sick! the wheels feel great the tires have uber grip (they were tossing dirt up into my face at the begining as they are mad tacky)

The fork! it feels great! I may run a couple psi lower to soften it up.

I came so close to clearing all my problem climbs (south fortuna I cleared the area I have a hard time with only to loose my balance and fall in an easy stop) and on S turns I cleared 3/4 but dabbed at the last rut!

no lights needed yet but next week I think they will be in order.

Got in a quick lunch ride today , as it was David Ho's last ride for a while with the NGC crew.

Nothing hard I put in a good effort on the climb was 3rd to the top (behind Jim and Domenick) skipped the lap around the lake as I had to get back to work.

No Temecula ride sunday as Jeff got hurt playing soccer so not doing that sunday so I think I'm gonna do Sycamore Canyon, we'll see

Another good ride after work at mission trails, esp since the sox won!

took a few mins longer than usual as Joel got a flat.

I didn't clear the 2 areas I have trouble with on the climbs, but I was feeling good on the Downhills. Its taken me a while to get use to these clipless pedals but I'm getting there.

Next couple days off then pre-riding the 12hrs of temecula course sunday.
