Got in an unexpected Ride with Jp while on vacation in CO. Had shoes that were too big and dana's bike which was too small but I was super happy to ride! We headed out south west and were riding in and out of a HUGE triathlon going on. After cheering on a few guys and gals we headed north and up the Olde Stage climb (I think that is the name?) and I was def feeling the altitude! after feeling truely horrible toward the top we peaked out at ~6,300 feet and mashed a great decent and hopped on the John Paul Robb locomotive for the express run to his house! Man grabbing a wheel out there is insane! the slight grade down for the last few miles and the winds make it a HUGE advantage to have a wheel and we cooked home thanks to him! Great ride legs were feeling ok esp after 4 days of hiking @ 9,000'+ but the lungs hated me at that altitude. Activity
